The Capacity Principle

One framework.
Everything flows from it.

Physical capacity is the reserve available to meet life’s demands. When capacity exceeds demand, people flourish. When demand exceeds capacity, a predictable cascade of decline begins — reduced activity, loss of confidence, social withdrawal, and ultimately dependency.

Most of this is not inevitable. Most of it is addressable. And almost all of it is better addressed earlier than most people realize.

The Capacity Principle is the organizing idea behind everything Reframe Aging does — from clinical assessment to workshop curriculum to the reading list. Build enough reserve to keep life expansive, and maintain it before it is needed.
